Thing 15 On Library 2.0

I think the future of public libraries is very exciting.
Whether we like it or not, non-fiction books will be a smaller and smaller part of the collection with the incredible uses of technology now and in the future.
The challenge is to make a wider section of the community aware of the potential uses of their local library. The library should become a focus for lots of events and groups as well as individuals. There needs to be lots of publicity and promotion through schools and local community groups. This has been lacking in the past.

I have been browsing technorati for a couple of weeks now and am still unsure what to make of it.
I don't know that I would be interested in what other people are blogging about although I did chuckle at the scary Mary Poppins.
