I have a wiki!
A photo and all, but have yet to work out how to reduce the size of the photo.
I don't really see who else could possibly be interested in it and I can't see myself spending a lot of time looking at other people's.
Time will tell.

wiki- I have added my blog to favourites.
very interesting to see what others are interested in but don't know how often I would use it.
What a great idea for classes in the library and getting like-minded people in touch with those with similar interests around the world.

Nearly there!

I must admit I am rushing through a bit in order to reach number 23 before annual leave. But I have at least learnt enough that I want to go over it all again and in more detail to sort out what I would really find useful at home and/or at work.

I looked at the wikis mentioned in the discovery exercise and would love to see some more local (Australian) sites.

Thing 15 On Library 2.0

I think the future of public libraries is very exciting.
Whether we like it or not, non-fiction books will be a smaller and smaller part of the collection with the incredible uses of technology now and in the future.
The challenge is to make a wider section of the community aware of the potential uses of their local library. The library should become a focus for lots of events and groups as well as individuals. There needs to be lots of publicity and promotion through schools and local community groups. This has been lacking in the past.

I have been browsing technorati for a couple of weeks now and am still unsure what to make of it.
I don't know that I would be interested in what other people are blogging about although I did chuckle at the scary Mary Poppins.
